I wish Martin Luther King was here to see another element of his dream come true. Today is a historical day that I know many people believed could not be possible or wouldn’t be seen in their life time. I remember when he was elected I could hear people outside my house yelling and sreamin’ “we made it, we did it!” And I would never forget what Aaron (Almighty) said to me that night “black people have no excuse now.” Not only black people but nobody has an excuse now, Obama showed that anything is possible if you put your mind and your grind to it. Years from today, this day will be read in our children’s history books and we can say “Yea I made history, I voted for Obama.”
